Becoming a Professional Analyst is a process of self-discovery, learning the technical mechanics and the art of synthesizing the details of the BodyGraph.
The Professional Analyst Education is a comprehensive program which includes six courses designed to be taken over three and one-half years. The six course program includes the two General Education Courses, Rave ABC’s and Rave Cartography, plus four levels of the Professional Training Program, all of which are described below. Becoming a Professional Analyst is a process of self-discovery, learning the technical mechanics and the art of synthesizing the detail of the BodyGraph. Having a Reading and taking the Living Your Design Workshop is a prerequisite to the General Education and Professional Analyst Certification Program.
The Rave ABC and Rave Cartography General Education Courses are the pre-requisites for taking any advanced education program in Human Design. These courses give you the foundation you will need before you move into more advanced areas of study and are open to anyone with an interest in Human Design, not just those who intend to follow the Professional Analyst track.
Rave ABC Course
Course Description:
Once the Living Your Design course is complete, many students find they are interested in learning even more about the Human Design System. Whether a student wants to become an analyst or simply become more informed, this course is the next step. Rave ABC’s is the first level of the IHDS professional and general educational tracks. It is designed to satisfy a student’s curiosity about the basics revealed in a bodyGraph while laying a solid educational foundation for the development of skilled analysts and/or informed general students. Covering the origins of Human Design and introducing the basic components that make up the synthesis known as the Human Design System, this course is designed to show how all these pieces fit together to form the bodyGraph.

Rave Cartography Course
Course Description:
Rave Cartography is the second level of professional and general IHDS education and serves as a prerequisite for all advanced education. Adding depth to the foundation built in Rave ABC’s, together Rave ABC’s and Rave Cartography provide enough tools to have a solid Human Design foundation. It offers a greater understanding of yourself and the world around you. In addition to the weekly classes, this class also includes study group meetings and homework. Total course study time is 48 hours.

Professional Training Level 1 – Chart Analysis
Course Description:
The goal of PTLI is to develop professional level analytical skills. In this year long course prospective analysts learn the detail level of design. Through monthly study programs and written and digitally recorded oral homework projects, they learn to integrate this detail into their surface level analysis skills. They will also practice and learn to Keynote, and learn the art of synthesizing a Human Design chart. Oral repetition will be stressed throughout to solidify competence, aid memorization, and develop chart-reading skills. This is a three semester program. Total study time is a minimum of 200 hours over the 3 semesters.

Course Description:
PTLII is Level II of the Professional Analyst Training. Completion of all 4 Levels is required for certification. PTLII is a two semester program and is an interactive workshop that delivers extensive new content and approach. In the first semester you will learn to give Connection (relationship) readings and learn the basic keys in relationship analysis. Students will be required to submit an analysis to demonstrate their grasp of the material. Total study time over 2 semesters is 48 hours.

This course covers Incarnation Cross Analysis in the context of the Quarter. You will learn how to do Incarnation Cross Readings with a focus on understanding and learning the formula for Keynoting the Incarnation Crosses. This is an interactive course where you will practice Incarnation Cross Readings. Our purpose is expressed through our Incarnation Cross – but this can only be achieved after we have entered into the experiment of Strategy and Authority, and de-conditioning. Your gifts are expressed through your Incarnation Cross once you are operating correctly in the world. As an Incarnation Cross Analyst you will be certified to perform these readings on completion of all Professional Training Levels.

Professional Training Level 4 - Professional Preparation and Final Test
Course Description
This is the final stage of the PTL course which includes final mentoring and test preparation, and the delivery of a professional reading for certification. The PTLIV is the last level of the PTL courses, where we finish and refine the results of our previous training courses. In this class, we will review and practice our presentation skills so that our readings will have crisp structure, outstanding clarity and positive impact. Refining our presentation skills is a tremendous reassurance. Through these skills, we can find organization, simplicity and the ability to communicate a wealth of knowledge. We start out with two classes with presentations and demonstrations. These demonstrations show clear and effective reading methods and are followed by workshops to review your work with helpful suggestions and dialog for review and practice. Our goal for this class is to produce a final reading at the end of the semester to the testing board. On our way toward this final presentation, we will each do a practice reading and review the recording to get specific suggestions and learning. At this stage of your education, specific criticism and practical suggestions for improvement are of immeasurable value. This class is for people who are ready to go for testing and certification.

Special Note: In addition to classes, there is a one-on-one individual session with each student.
PTL-IV is the final level of the professional training to become a certified Human Design Analyst. The goal of PTL-IV is to guide and mentor you as you prepare for submitting your final reading to the testing Board for certification. During the course of the semester, we will work together on honing your reading skills. We will look at the structure and organization of your individual client readings.
Each Analyst is unique and has their own style for interacting with clients. However, there is basic material that must be covered in every reading with a new client. We will discover your preference and dynamics for delivering that information in a reading.
A reading is a synthesis of your years of training in the knowledge of Design and the art of delivering that knowledge. We will explore through examples and practice readings each week all the key elements necessary to introduce a client to their Human Design. This class is a workshop style class. It will be very interactive with each participant. You will have many chances to practice your reading skills. Each student will add to the richness of the class. Not only will you get to practice your style, but you'll get to see and benefit from the other class participants styles.
There are five classes where we meet as a group. There is one additional class where each student will meet individually with Cathy. The individual session with each person is a review of your final reading that you will be submitting to the testing Board. Cathy will make recommendations and suggestions for any improvements of your final reading.
This class is for those people who want to practice, play and perfect their reading skills as they move towards the final phase of their certification process to become a Human Design Analyst. I look forward to the privilege of mentoring you in this final phase of your journey.
Testing fees for certification by the IHDS Standards Board are in addition to this course.
