Introduction to Family Penta Course" is a pre-requisite for registration in the IHDS Family Practice Certification Course.
Each of us carries the family penta imprint we were born into, which we will carry for the rest of our life. This course provides mechanics and exploration tools to recognize and understand family penta conditioning. Primarily, family penta is an exploration of foundational conditioning.
Family Penta is a group of 3 – 5 people who live together. In this course, I recommend that students use a family penta example to recognize family penta dynamics. For example, our birth family is recognizable and presents a unique opportunity to discover a new perspective on our past and birth family experience.
The purpose of this course is to provide students who are actively exploring their design, help with understanding and recognizing the aspects of the family penta imprint that each of us carries in our openness. Recognition of the family conditioning we were born into can give us a deep sense of freedom, the freedom to be our unique selves.
It is natural that students will be curious to look at their present family group through the lens of family penta mechanics. Although examining our present family is natural, objectively examining and discussing these dynamics in class can be challenging. Learning and discussing our birth family penta example, a penta in which we aren’t currently living, can be much easier yet deeply profound. I recognize, however, that some students will use their present family as their class example.
In this course, you will be introduced to the mechanics of family penta, the different ways in which family penta functions as a conditioning force, and how to recognize the pressures of life that become internalized from family penta. You will have ample time to explore family penta mechanics, and how to recognize these mechanics through class examples, observation, and discussion.
Requested: Birth Data to create a penta chart to use as your class example.
Introduction to Family Penta is a required pre-requisite for the Family Practice Specialist Certification, an Advanced Analyst Program.
