The Professional Analyst Education is a comprehensive program that involves three General Education Courses as prerequisites, and four Professional Level Courses, to be taken over three and one-half years.

There are four professional development levels of the IHDS Analyst Training Program, all of which are described below. Becoming an IHDS Professional Analyst is a process of personal self-discovery, learning the technical mechanics and developing the art of synthesizing. This includes:
Pre-Requisites: IA Human Design Foundation Reading by an IHDS Certified Professional Analyst , and the General Education Foundation Courses: Living Your Design, Rave ABC and Rave Cartography.
The General Education Courses, Living Your Design, Rave ABC and Rave Cartography, are the prerequisites for taking any advanced education program in Human Design. These courses give the foundation you will need before you move into more advanced areas of study. These courses are open to anyone with an interest in Human Design, not just those who intend to follow the Professional Analyst track. It is recommended that the student take a reasonable break between courses to allow time to absorb, process and digest the information - and most importantly, to have an opportunity to experiment with their Strategy and Authority.

The goal of PTL-I is to develop professional level analytical skills. In this year long, three-semester course, prospective analysts learn the detail level of Human Design, and how to synthesize the BodyGraph. Through monthly study programs, and written and digitally recorded oral homework projects, students learn to integrate this detail into their surface level analysis skills. They will also practice and learn to Keynote, and learn the art of synthesizing a Human Design chart. Oral repetition will be stressed throughout to solidify competence, aid memorization, and develop chart-reading skills. Total study time is a minimum of 200 hours over the year.

Course Duration: There are two options: The in-person is taught for 12 weekends over one year, and includes material to read and homework assignments. The online program is taught with 30 online lessons, and 26 online practicum sessions including self-study recordings, reading material and homework assignments.

This is Level II of the Professional Analyst Training. Completion of all 4 Levels is required for certification. PTL-II is a two-semester program and is an interactive workshop that delivers extensive new content and approach. In the first semester, students will learn to give Connection (relationship) readings and the basic keys in relationship analysis. Students will be required to submit an analysis to demonstrate their grasp of the material.

In PTLII, semester two, students will learn the formula and technique for providing Life Cycle Analysis such as Solar Returns, Saturn Returns, Uranus Opposition and Kiron Returns. Students will be required to submit an analysis to demonstrate their grasp of the material.

This course covers Incarnation Cross Analysis in the context of the Quarter. You will learn how to do Incarnation Cross Readings with a focus on understanding and learning the formula for keynoting the Incarnation Crosses. This is an interactive course where you will practice Incarnation Cross Readings.
Our purpose is expressed through our Incarnation Cross – but this can only be achieved after we have entered into the experiment of Strategy and Authority, and deconditioning. Your gifts and purpose are expressed through your Incarnation Cross once you are operating correctly in the world. As an Incarnation Cross Analyst, you will be certified to perform these readings on completion of all Professional Training Levels. Total study time is 48 hours.

PTL-IV is the final level of the professional analyst training to become a certified Human Design Analyst. The goal of PTL-IV is to guide and mentor you as you prepare for submitting your final reading to the testing Board for certification. During the course of the semester, we will work together on honing your reading skills. We will look at the structure and organization of your individual client readings.
Each Analyst is unique and has their own style for interacting with clients. However, there is basic material that must be covered in every reading with a new client. We will discover your preference and dynamics for delivering that information in a reading.
A reading is a synthesis of your years of training in the knowledge of Human Design and the art of delivering that knowledge. We will explore each week, through examples and practice readings, all the key elements necessary to introduce a client to their Human Design. This class is a workshop-style class. It will be very interactive with each participant. You will have many chances to practice your reading skills. Each student will add to the richness of the class. Not only will you get to practice your style, but also you'll get to see and benefit from the other class participant’s styles.
Our goal for this class is for you to produce a final exam reading at the end of the semester.
